Born 1971.

1990-1996: Studied mathematics at ETH Zurich (Diploma); Erasmus study year at HU Berlin.

1997-2002: Master's degree in the History of Exact Sciences and Technology at TU Berlin.

2001-2006: Research assistant at the History Department of HU Berlin; collaboration in the technical conception and realization of H-Soz-u-Kult and Clio-online.

2007-2008: Research assistant within the DFG priority program 1173 "Integration and Disintegration of Cultures in the European Middle Ages" at the History Department of HU Berlin.

2009-2011: Research assistant within the BMBF project "Bildatlas Kunst in der DDR" at the Centre for Contemporary History, Potsdam.

2011-2013: Research assistant within the DFG-funded project "Historical Research Network" at the History Department of HU Berlin.

2015-2021: Research assistant within the DFG-funded project "Key Documents of German-Jewish History" at the Institute for the History of German Jews, Hamburg.

Since 2018: Research assistant within the DFG-funded project „German History in Documents and Images“ at the German Historical Institute, Washington DC.

Since 2021: Research associate at the MMZ, research focus on the digitization strategy.
