Book Series

During its 30-year existence, the MMZ has launched a variety of series. These included: Haskala - Wissenschaftliche Abhandlungen, Beiträge zur Geschichte und Kultur der Juden, the Bibliothek des deutschen Judentums, the Studien zur Geistesgeschichte, Neue Beiträge zur Geistesgeschichte, Bibliographien zur deutsch-jüdischen Geschichte, Sifria - Wissenschaftliche Bibliothek and finally also Jüdische Quellen Mekorot Jisrael. Currently, the series European-Jewish Studies - Contributions, published with de Gruyter, is being continuously expanded.

With its publications, the MMZ is committed to the more than 250-year old tradition of the Jewish Enlightenment beginning with Moses Mendelssohn and the science of Judaism.
